Delicious

Delicious is a different kind of animal than Facebook or Twitter .Delicious is about organizing content you are interested in. Facebook and Twitter can be used for sharing links, but they do not provide similar to delicious functionality for organizing them. Do not think I would need this website in the future, as there are many book marking websites to choose from. It is a great choice for someone looking to bookmark their websites and those that they find on the site and take a liking to.

Using Flickr  was pretty simple. The only problem I had was remembering my user information. I have not used it for quite some time. Since the site is clean and uncluttered, you can find what you need easily. All the options are listed in dropdown menus, so there is no searching needed.. There is no need for tedious ticking each photo you want to sort. I uploaded Linkedin, RSS Feed, and Wiki, tagged under Web 2.0. Under this tag, LinkedIn came back with 75 photos, RSS Feed with 350 photos, and Wiki with 158 photos.

RadioSure

RadioSure allows users to tune into radio stations from around the globe and even record their favorite programs. Plays various formats. Unlike undedicated media players, this one has a list of 'stations'. You can add stations you find yourself to the list. There is an inbuilt recording-function. Like most media players, you can decide the output device (that means something in my case). The list of [known] stations is updated weekly. With the stations you add yourself, you can add several links to the same station, which is useful in cases such as if they have a link for dial-up-speeds streaming, and of course too for broadband. The interface is quite simple, and it's easy to add your own stations, and even if you don't know what bit-rate and what format the station that you add 'broadcast' in, then do not worry - as the program don't actually care, it will just try and stream it, and figure it out on its own - very simple.

PrimoPDF

Nitro PDF's PrimoPDF is a free tool that converts all kinds of files into PDFs that you can open, edit, and manage with your usual PDF application. PrimoPDF enables me to send documents by email as the size of the PDF files are 1/10 of the original file. The built-in PDF converter in MSOffice 2010 is useless as file size is the same as the original doc, which could be as large as 21mb so I cannot send the PDF file by email. PrimoPDF converts a 21mb MSWord doc to a 1.5mb PDF file, which is perfect for emailing reports. It is easy to install, easy to use with the printer option. The drag and drop feature is nice especially if you have saved the document to your desktop.

Puffin Web Browser for Ipad

One of the biggest complaints about the Apples’ portable devices has been their inability to play Flash videos. But now everyone can watch video on iPhone, iPad & iPodTouch . I recently download Puffin Web Browser to my Ipad. I was looking for a browser that would support APU website, on my Ipad. I do have a laptop but, I like the convenience of using an Ipad and Safari do not support flash or APU website. I use the Puffin browser for my main browser. I have not experience any of the problems that the reviewer is writing about. I think it is about your internet connection. I have a good connection and my browser is fast and smooth.

Why You Can Never Truly Delete Your Email

When an email is deleted, some or all parts of it are still retrievable in Microsoft Windows. The subject of much anger amongst users who value privacy and security, including me. Even if an email is deleted properly, it can still be retrieved using specialist software. Forensic and data recovery specialists are used by large corporations, governments and law enforcement agencies to retrieve valuable data lost by human error, physical disaster, or mechanical failure. So-called deleted emails are not deleted. The pointer to the file's blocks on the hard drive is added to the free-space list in the file directory, and this space, ''may'', eventually, be re-used for new files. Note the "eventually" part: forensic tools can easily recover deleted files with little or no damage. And you thought they were really gone. Nope.

.Cheating DeathWatch: Microsoft Isn't Dead Yet

Microsoft was once the desktop master, but in the last couple of years, not so much. Although Microsoft has been dethroned by Apple and Google, Microsoft can still be relevant in the market system, even with consumers moving from their desktop to a tablet device. It does have some catching up to do, and Windows 8 is a good start. With Xbox, still the game consoles champ. Window 8 is the new Netflix  it’s everywhere; tablets, phones ,and pcs, etc….  Halo 4 is was a top seller in its first week. There is speculation that there is Xbox Surface on the horizon. Office is moving to cloud, and Bing has a new customer focus. All this renovation was done in one year. Can Microsoft rise up? Ughhhhhh!!  probably not!  We all know what happened between Netflix and Blockbuster.
